Ida Mae Snyder

Ida Mae Snyder, 80, of Hughesville died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center. She was born Jan. 25, 1934, in Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, a daughter of the late Cleon E. and Mary Alice Biggar Worthington. April 8, 1952, she married Robert E. Snyder Sr., who died Jan. 6, 2006.

Ida Mae worked many years at ShopVac, Williamsport, Sylvania, Montoursville, FritoLay, Muncy and Relda Apparel. During her later years she cleaned homes for many in the area. She enjoyed needlecraft, gardening, knitting and caring for her cockatiels.

Ida Mae is survived by two sons, Robert E. (Suzette) Snyder Jr., of Augusta, Ga. and Terry L. (Karen) Snyder, of Hughesville; a daughter, Susan J. (Gregg) Rhodes, of Muncy; seven grandchildren, Bart Clementoni, Leslie Lordi, Luke Snyder, Haley Snyder, Brandt Snyder, Brittany Snyder and Brianna Snyder; four great-grandchildren, Josephine Lordi, Ella Clementoni, Anthony Lordi and Anna Clementoni; and a sister-in-law, Elva Mae Worthington, of Hughesville.

Ida Mae was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Worthington and two sisters, Doris Welshans and Nancy Berfield.
