Kenneth J. Dunlap

Kenneth J. Dunlap, 81, of 106 Quarry Road, Muncy, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014, at the Susquehanna Health Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center at the Muncy Valley Hospital.

Born May 23, 1933, in Muncy, he was the only child of the late A. Kenneth and Mildred (Myers) Dunlap. On Nov. 7, 1953, he married the former Doris Jane Temple, who survives. Together they celebrated 60 years of marriage.

Kenneth was a 1951 graduate of Muncy High School and a 1959 graduate of Lycoming College, where he received a degree in business administration. Kenneth served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked many years as a supervisor for the former Alltel, now Windstream.

Kenneth was a longtime member of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, Muncy.

He enjoyed working outdoors and doing odds and ends around the house.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons and a daughter-in-law, J. Stephen Dunlap and Gary L. and Amy Dunlap, all of Muncy.

A private service was held at the convenience of the family.

Burial was in the Muncy Cemetery.

The family was assisted by Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.
