Connie J. Hamilton

Connie J. Hamilton, 67, of Muncy, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at her home.

Born Feb. 10, 1947, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Frederick L. and Margret E. Cohick Hamilton.

Connie was a licensed cosmetologist, having worked at several local salons. She retired from the former Value City department store, Muncy and from the Muncy Bank & Trust Company. Following her retirement she was employed at Ben Franklin, Clarkstown.

Connie was a member of Pleasant View Wesleyan Church and a former member of the Moreland Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and knitting.

Surviving are three daughters, Denise L. (Jimmy) Wagner, of Muncy, Tammy R. (William) Temple, of Muncy and Debbie M. (Randy) Brown, of Unityville; a son, Dennis C. (Natalie) Hall II, of Williamsport; two sisters, Sharon L. (Charlie Mitch) Marshal, of Linden and Lacynda L. Perez, of Williamsport; two brothers, Frederick L. (Yulia) Hamilton Jr., of Williamsport, and Kavin L. Hamilton, of Williamsport; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by a sister, Gail L. Kessler and two grandchildren, Dennis C. Hall III and Cain A. Wagner.

A memorial service was held 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at Pleasant View Wesleyan Church, 994 E. Penn St., Muncy, with the Rev. Stephen R. Smith officiating. Burial was in Moreland Baptist Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends called from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday at the church.

Arrangements were entrusted to the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, Hughesville.
