Judy K. Best

Judy K. Best, 60, of Muncy, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2014, at her home.

Born Aug. 26, 1954, in Muncy, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Alice P. Winder Eichenlaub. She and her husband, Kenneth C. Best, celebrated 33 years of marriage on Sept. 24, 2014.

Judy was employed as an RN at various medical facilities throughout the area. She was an avid Penn State fan who also enjoyed playing golf.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Dawn M. (Matt) Eshleman, of Muncy; a son, Gregory Scott Best, of Muncy; a brother, Tom “Zike” (Greta) Eichenlaub, of Montgomery; and a granddaughter, Layney J. Eshleman.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by a brother, Tracy Eichenlaub.

Funeral services were held 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with the Rev. James R. Pentz officiating. Friends called from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

The family provided the flowers and suggest memorial contributions be made to LAPS, 195 Phillips Park Drive, South Williamsport, PA 17702.
