Mary Catherine Ensinger

Mary Catherine Ensinger, 73, of Main Street, Hughesville, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born Sept. 28, 1941, in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Myers B. and Grace A. (Martin) Enterline. She was married to Ray L. Ensinger who preceded her in death on May 14, 1983.

Mary attended Turbotville High School and loved her cats. She was a member of Pleasant View Wesleyan Church, Muncy.

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, David A. and Tammy Smith, of Knoxville, Tenn., Mark R. and Brenda Smith, of Hughesville, Edward D. and Elizabeth Smith, of Sweet Valley; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death besides her husband was a daughter, Katie Mae Smith.

Friends were invited to call from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at Brooks Funeral Home, 207 Broadway St., Turbotville, where the funeral was held at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Stephen Smith, her pastor, officiating. Burial followed in Turbotville Cemetery.
