Anna M. “Nancy” Crociante

Anna M. Nancy Crociante, 75, of Muncy, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2014.

Born Jan. 6, 1939, in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Frank P. and Anna J. Kelly Farley.

Nancy and her husband, the late John Crociante, were married Sept. 7, 1957, in Saint Gabriel Roman Catholic Church, Philadelphia, where she also graduated from the same parish school.

Since 1978, she and her husband John owned and operated Nancy & Johnny’s Country Tavern. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and traveling.

Surviving are two daughters, Anna (Randy) Vermeulen, of Montoursville and Susan Crociante, of Muncy; four sons, Frank Crociante, of Muncy, John (Beverly) Crociante, of Hughesville, Steven (Michelle Parker) Crociante, of Hughesville and Joseph (Bernard) Crociante, of San Diego, Calif.; six sisters, Elizabeth Hartman, Sarah Appenzeller, Mary McCollum, Margaret Finamore, Janet Haggarty and Diane McCollum; five brothers, Frank Farley, Joseph Farley, Charles Farley, James Farley and George Farley; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband of 54 years, Nancy was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and William Farley and a sister, Frances Farley.

Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with the Rev. Kevin St. Martin officiating. Burial followed in Webster Cemetery, Huntersville. Friends called from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The family provided the flowers and suggest memorial contributions be made to the Huntersville United Methodist Church, 658 Village Road, Pennsdale, PA 17756.
