Holly L. Thomas

Holly L. Thomas, 55, of Green Street, Muncy, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at her home.

Born Jan. 4, 1960, in Muncy, she was the daughter of the late Elwood L. and Dorothy N. (Phillips) Hans. On April 19, 1981, she married Jerry A. Thomas and they have celebrated 33 years of marriage.

She was a 1978 graduate of Montgomery High School and had worked at Pardoe’s Perky Peanuts for 11 years.

Holly was a member of New Covenant Assembly of God Church, Montgomery.

She was a fan of the NY Yankees, loved reading, camping and going to her grandchildren’s sports events.

Surviving besides her husband are a daughter and son-in-law, Tierney A. and Tyrell Drick, of Montgomery; three grandchildren, Jensen, Kaide, and Summer; three brothers: Randal L. Hans, Dennis E. Hans, and Duane L. Hans; and three sisters: Crystal G. Whitney, Pamela D. Kinney, and Julie A. Lynch, all of Montgomery.

Preceding her in death besides her parents was a son, Jerry A. “JJ” Thomas Jr. in 1989 and a sister, Twila Rae Hans in 1949.

Friends were invited to call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at New Covenant Assembly of God Church, 1270 Pinchtown Road, Montgomery, where the funeral service was held at 1 p.m. with the Rev. James Pentz officiating. Burial followed in Presbyterian Cemetery, McEwensville.

The family suggests contributions in her memory be made to her church.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brooks Funeral Home, 124 Main St., Watsontown.
