Stacey Marie Oates

Stacey Marie Oates, 35, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at her home.

Born Aug. 8, 1979, in Williamsport, to William Lawrence Wingo, of South Williamsport, and Deborah J. Saar Steppe and her husband David Steppe, of Williamsport.

She was a 1997 graduate of Muncy High School Muncy.

She was previously employed as the Store Manager of V.F. Outlet in Hagerstown, Md.

Stacey was a member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church Williamsport, Md.

She was a member of Cumberland Valley Breast Cancer Awareness and very active with her children’s school at Heritage Academy.

Survivors include, besides her parents, are husband, Bill Oates, married for 10 years, of Hagerstown, Md.; sons, Will Oates, at home and Mason Oates, at home; sister, Shelley J. Fry, of Montgomery; and brother, Brett W. Wingo, of South Williamsport.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, at 4 p.m. at Fairlawn Community Church 353 Pleasant Hill Road, Cogan Station, PA 17728.
