William Snowden Bubb

William Snowden Bubb, 62, expired Dec. 18, 2014 at Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, Lansing, MI, after a two-year fight with esophageal cancer.

He was born June 17, 1952 in Williamsport, PA, son of the late John A. and Charlotte Bubb, and graduated from Muncy (PA) High School in 1970. He worked for his father’s surveying and construction company for several years throughout Lycoming County. Bill lived in Arizona the past 22 years, but moved to Michigan a few months ago. He was known for his unfailing good humor and endless supply of corny jokes. He had been a civilian employee of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office until his illness.

Bill is survived by his wife, Marilynn, Holt, MI, step-daughter Laurie Parker, Holt, and beloved companions Penny, Carley, Minnie Mouse, and Shirley. He is also survived by a sister, Susan; half-sisters Sally and Barbara, neice Jenny, and other relatives in Pennsylvania.

Bill donated his body to the University of Michigan Medical Center. There were no services.
