Adaline K. Wertman

Adaline K. Wertman, 95, of 172 Morse Drive, Eldred Township, passed away Monday, Feb. 9, 2015, at her residence. She was born Aug. 26, 1919, in Montgomery, a daughter of Jesse and Esther Heivley Temple.

Adaline retired from Brodart and was a member of Heshbon United Methodist Church.

She was predeceased by her husband, John E. Wertman Sr.; brother, Donald Temple; and sister, Edna McBride.

She is survived by her sons, John E. Wertman Jr., of Trout Run, Ronald E. (Jackie) Wertman, of Trout Run, and Jesse W. (Bonnie) Wertman, of Williamsport; her daughter, Viola Earnest, of Warrensville; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, with the Rev. Dr. David A. Keller officiating. Interment followed in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery. Visitation was held last Wednesday morning form 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
