Pastor William Paul Robbins

Pastor William Paul Robbins, 80, of Muncy, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015.

Jude 1:24, 25

Now unto God, Who is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

He was born July 26, 1934, a son of the late John and Catherine Robbins, of Watsontown. He was married to the former Shirley Pearl Trefsger who survives. They celebrated 58 years of marriage.

William was the senior pastor of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church, Muncy.

He was the beloved father of seven children from the eldest to the youngest, Deborah, of Pennsylvania, Mark, of Louisiana, Daniel, of Pennsylvania, Joy, of the United Kingdom, Jonathan (Jean), Sharon (Alan) Houser, Julie (Alan) Cahill, all of Pennsylvania; beloved “Pappy” to 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; survived by sisters, Elaine Dietz, of Arizona, Gloria Beishline, of Minnesota, and Kay Shutt, of North Dakota.

William was preceded in death by two brothers, John C. Robbins Jr., of Pennsylvania and Robert E. Robbins, of North Carolina.

Interment for Pastor William Robbins was held in Twin Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Muncy.
