Ann H. VanDine

Ann H. VanDine, 55, of Muncy, died Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Hershey Medical Center. She was a nurturing mother, devoted wife, caring daughter and sister, loving aunt, and loyal friend.

Born November 27, 1959 in Muncy, she was a daughter of Charles L. and Caroline A. Barto Hall. She and her husband, Gary L. VanDine, would have celebrated 32 years of marriage on September 17, 2015.

Ann was currently employed at the East Lycoming Shopper and Luminary. She was very active with the Keystone Sportsman’s Association and loved working with children. Ann also enjoyed flowers, gardening, crafts, and traveling. However, one of her greatest joys was spending time with her family.

Surviving, in addition to her parents and husband of Muncy, are a daughter, Amiann (Brynn) Bower of Hughesville; a son, John C. VanDine of Muncy; two sisters, Penny H. (David) Booth of Muncy, and Carmen H. Shoemaker of Muncy; and her beloved beagles, Flash and Shiloh.

Ann was preceded in death by a brother, Charles L. “Chuck” Hall Jr.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, June 5, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water Street, Hughesville, Pastor Matt McGovern and Mark Basinger co-officiating. Burial will follow in Muncy Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
