Barry Allen Tubbs

Barry Allen Tubbs, 57, of 294 Fullertown Rd., Muncy, died Monday, August 3, 2015 at The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Born January 30, 1958 in Muncy, he was the son of the late Donald H. and Ruth Evelyn (O’Connor) Tubbs. On June 26, 1982 he married the former Laurie E. Cameron, who survives. Together they celebrated 33 years of marriage.

Barry attended Warrior Run High School through 11th grade and graduated from Muncy High School in 1976. He worked for West Pharmaceutical and Tech Group, Williamsport for 28 years.

A love of classic cars, Barry enjoyed attending car shows and showing his 1951 Chevy pick-up truck. He also enjoyed being in the company of family and friends.

Surviving in addition to his wife are one daughter, Kristen L. Tubbs, of Muncy; one brother and sister-in-law, Dale and LaCinda Tubbs, of Muncy; two sisters, Linda Nickles, of Hughesville and Donnette Tubbs and her companion, James Fry, of Cogan Station; and his granddog, Luxx.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by one sister, Barbara Bieber and a brother-in-law, Donald Nickles.

Friends were received from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Friday at the Delaware Run Wesleyan Church, 5570 Musser Lane, Watsontown, where a memorial service was held at 2 p.m., with the church pastor, the Rev. Michael Reece, officiating. A luncheon followed in the church hall.

The family provided the flowers, and suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of ones choice.
