Royetta E. Baysore

Royetta E. Baysore, 81, of 7 Fairground St., Muncy, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at her home.

Born March 23, 1934 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Herman H. Sr. and Bertha E. (West) Hess. On August 27, 1954, she married William L. Baysore, who survives. Together they celebrated 61 years of marriage.

Royetta was a 1952 graduate of Williamsport High School. She spent her days raising and caring for her family.

Royetta was of Episcopal faith.

She was a former member of the Kratzer-Dull American Legion Post 182, Lewisburg and the Williamsport Moose PA Lodge #145.

Royetta loved cooking, dancing, word puzzles, reading and cryptogram puzzles. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Stephen Baysore, of Williamsport; four daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Joseph Werle, of O’Fallon, IL, Debra and Marc Strickland, of Stockton, CA, Kathy and Larry Pentz and Barbie and John Bubb, all of Muncy; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Herman H. Jr. and Nancy Hess, of Williamsport, her twin, Roy E. Sr. and Debbie Hess, of Long Beach, CA; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Ruth E. and Lee Stoddard, of Rochester, NY, Darlene H. Webb, of Muncy and Donalene H. and Dan Winder, of Hughesville; 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Doris Tawney; three brothers, Robert K., Kenneth E. and James L. Hess; and a step great-granddaughter, Jenny Bubb.

Friends were received from 3 to 4 p.m. Monday Feb. 1 at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral was held at 4 p.m. Officiating was Chaplain Win Allabough, of Southern Care Hospice.

Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
