Grace I. Snyder

Grace I. Snyder, 89, of Muncy, died Saturday, March 26, 2016, at the Susquehanna Health Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Muncy.

Born January 29, 1927 in Muncy, she was a daughter of the late Otto F. “Mike” and Sarah E. (Miller) Kilgus. On October 2, 1946, she married Harold L. Snyder. Together they celebrated 66 years of marriage before his death June 13, 2013.

Grace was a graduate of Muncy High School.

A homemaker, her greatest joy was caring for her family and the neighborhood kids.

Grace was a member of Muncy Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are one son, Donald L. Snyder, of Muncy; two daughters and sons-in-law, Connie L. and Brad Beals, of Jersey Shore and Deborah A. and Leonard Klees, of Pennsdale; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry and Mary Kilgus, of Ohio and Oscar and Chris Kilgus, of Picture Rocks; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held in Muncy Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
