Joanne Lowe

Joanne Lowe,former resident of Muncy passed away on November 18, 2016 in White House, TN at the age of 83.

Joanne was born in New York to the late Luther and Eleanor Lowe (Bieber. She grew up in Muncy, PA with her mother and stepfather, the late Lewis E. Bieber. She was the sister of Dona Fry of Hughesville, PA and the late Beverly Flock and Nancy Bieber.

Joanne is survived by her daughter Rebecca and son-in-law Bobby Price of White House, TN; also grandson Clinton (Audrey), granddaughter Jami (James) Gamble and great granddaughters Alaina and Jocie Gamble. She is also survived by nieces: Dianna (John) Winder, Mary Ann (Carl) Fornwalt, Jean Flock, Linda (Bill) Smith, Joan (Juan) Rojas, Jamie Fry (Charlie), Gail Fry and nephew Kenneth (Kate) Flock. Awaiting her in heaven, were her late nieces Sue Ellen Budman and Julie Flock Harris.

Joanne was a graduate of Muncy High School and then proceeded with a 43 year long career in the meat and deli department of American Food/Acme/Super Saver Markets in Williamsport, PA. She was a past member of the Muncy Valley Hospital Auxillary and Muncy Garden Club. Following retirement, Joanne made the move from her hometown of Muncy to White House, TN to be involved in the lives of her daughter and grandchildren. She was a member of the WhiteHouse First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her family and her home with many hours of gardening, reading, drawing and coloring. Her smile and humor will be dearly missed by all those whom loved her.
