Michael J. Pfefferkorn

Michael J. Pfefferkorn, 62, of Heatherbrooke Estates, Muncy, died Thursday, April 20, 2017 at his home.

Born August 22, 1954 in Paterson, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Michael E. and Joyce E. (deJong) Pfefferkorn.

Michael was a graduate of Ramapo High School, New Jersey.

He enjoyed working on his cars. Michael was a collector of many things, often times finding treasures at auctions and flea markets. He was fond of watching Sci-Fi and horror movies. Most of all he loved spending time with his nephew, Chris and caring for his cat, Target.

Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Paul J. and Kathleen Pfefferkorn, Oakland, NJ; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Bob Bennett, of Montoursville; two nephews, Christopher Lewis and Ryan Lewis and his wife, Tara; and a niece Julie Anne Pfefferkorn.

Friends were received from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral was held at 11:30 a.m. Officiating was Rev. Max L. Walters, Jr, of Lairdsville Faith Church, Hughesville.

Burial followed in Muncy Cemetery.

The family provided the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to the Lycoming County SPCA, 2805 Reach Rd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
