Susan A. Ross

Susan A. “Sue” Ross, 61, of Muncy, died Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport.

Born Dec. 4, 1956, in Shamokin, she was a daughter of the late Robert B. and Matilda L. (Merolli) Ross.

Sue was a 1974 graduate of Williamsport High School. She was formerly employed with Red Lobster for more than 25 years and also was employed with UPMC Susquehanna Muncy as a receptionist.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish. She enjoyed flower gardening and loved shopping. Most of all she loved and cherished spending time with her sons.

Surviving are her two sons, Seth M. and Erik R. Balliet, both of Muncy; a brother, Gary R. Ross, of Williamsport; two nieces, Angela M. Lepley (Shaun), of Jersey Shore and Jessica A. McDermott (Eric), of Nipponese Valley; three great-nephews, Anthony J. Orrico Jr., Greyson P. McDermott, and Gaige M. Lepley; and a great-niece, Emilie G. Winter.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held 10 a.m. Monday, July 23, at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 702 W. Fourth Street, Williamsport, with the Rev. Brian F. VanFossen officiating. Burial followed in Wildwood Cemetery. The family received friends from 9 to 9:45 a.m. in the portico at St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
