Dorothy “Dolly” P. Brehm

Dorothy “Dolly” P. Brehm, 72, of Exchange, died Thursday July 25, 2019, at Geisinger Medical Center, surrounded by her family. She was born Dec. 27, 1946, in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Oscar and Ruth (Johnson) Lorrow.

She spent most of her life working in factories and on the family farm, and loved to read and play cards.

Dolly is survived by her husband, Wesley Brehm, with whom she celebrated 55 years of marriage, three daughters, Honey Bee Smith and husband Mike, of Millville, Darlene Shields and husband Scott, of Suffolk, Va., and Nancy Joe, of Exchange, with whom she resided; 12 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother, Lee Lorow and wife Jane, of Eagles Mere; four sisters, Vera “Sis” Gresh and Florence Betz, both of Exchange, Eva Yocum, of Lairdsville, and Patsy Karns, of Millville; two brothers-in-law, Larry Huntington, of Bloomsburg, and Denny Utt, of North Carolina; and two sisters-in-law, Irene Lorow, of Massachussets, and Jane Lorow, of Bloomsburg.

Dolly was preceded in death by her parents as well as three brothers, Oscar, Ken, and Lester Lorow; and four sisters, Alice “Peachie” Huntington, Rhoda Utt, and Ruth Ann and Evelyn Lorow.

Services were held. Monday, July 29, at Bunnell Funeral Home, 179 E. Main St., Millville, with Pastor Ryan Reigh officiating. Burial follwed at Ikler Cemetery.
