Roseann “Rose” (Pick) Snyder

Roseann “Rose” (Pick) Snyder, age 71, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Montgomery, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022. Rose was born on Saturday, December 9, 1950, in Muncy to Jane Elizabeth (Poust) Pick and the late Neil E. Pick. Rose was the widow of Barry A. Snyder, whom she married on September 13, 2001, and who died on September 1, 2019. In addition to her father and husband, Rose is preceded in death by her grandson, Bailey McCarty, and her great-grandson, Dillon Goeman.

Rose’s survivors include her mother, Jane Elizabeth (Poust) Pick; her four children: Danny McCarty and his wife, Tanya, of Carthage, NY; DeAnn “Dee” Goeman of Montgomery; James “Jim” McCarty of Montgomery; Jaime Kichline and her husband, Jason, of Mechanicsburg; her seven grandchildren: David Snyder and his fiancé, Jessica; Bradley Goeman and his wife, Jessica; Seth McCarty; Lindsay McCarty; Kaitlyn McCarty; Eli Kichline; Ella Kichline; her two great-grandchildren: Connor Goeman and Macie Goeman; her brother, Dr. David L. Pick and his wife, Tonya, of Port Matilda; and her nephew, David N. Pick of Port Matilda.

Rose’s family will be remembering her life privately. Cremation was private.

The family sends their most heartfelt thanks to everyone in the Critical Care Unit at UPMC West Shore Hospital for caring for Rose during her illness.
