BRUCH-Sarah Hays Bubb Bruch died on June 18, 2023, at her residence in Muncy. She was 98. Sally was born in Williamsport, and was the daughter of Hugh Jackson Bubb and Ann Phillips Bubb.

SOFFEL-Howard R. Soffel, 88, a former longtime resident of Huntersville, died Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Martinsburg VA Community Living Center, Martinsburg, W. Va. Born May 21, 1935 in New York City, N.Y., he was the son of the late Howard Taft Soffel and Jessie (Wilson/Schmidt) Cockren. Burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 695 Cemetery Dr., Hughesville.

HALDEMAN-Dolores H. Haldeman, 91, of Hughesville, passed away Monday, June 19, 2023, at the Williamsport Home. Born September 3, 1931, in Williamsport, Pa, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Elsie (Cochran) Keller. Burial in the Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.

BROWN-Richard L. “Rick” Brown, 67, of Unityville, died Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Bloomsburg Care & Rehabilitation Center. Born January 17, 1956, in Muncy, PA, he was a son of the late Chalmer R. and Anna M. (Swisher) Brown.

AUNKST-Kyle L. Aunkst, 33, of Muncy, died Friday, June 16, 2023, at his home. Born January 14, 1990, in Williamsport, he is the son of Larry D., Sr. and Sherry Y. (Swank) Aunkst of Muncy.

WIRT-Priscilla J. (Whipple) Wirt, 80, of Muncy, Pennsylvania died Friday, June 16, 2023, at Heritage Springs Memory Care in Muncy. Born July 12, 1942, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Robert M. and Vida B. (Fleisher) Whipple.

STROUBLE-JoAnn Mae Strouble, 89, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2023. She was born on July 19, 1933, to Herbert and Harriet Smith.

SHOLTIS-Marilee “Lee” (Campbell) Sholtis, 84, of Muncy, died Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at UPMC Muncy Place. Lee was born February 7, 1939, in Williamsport Hospital and went home to Montgomery with her parents Kenneth and Minnie (Hartman) Campbell.

MYERS-William C. “W.C.” Myers, 80, of Bradenton, Fla., formerly of Hughesville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Manatee Memorial Hospital, Bradenton. Born January 6, 1943, in Hughesville, he was a son of the late Clay and Virginia (Birdsell) Myers.

MILLER-Judith D. Miller, 83, a long time resident of Muncy, died Tuesday, June 20, 2023 surrounded by her family at the home she shared with her daughter in South Carolina. Born January 17, 1940 in Syracuse, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude (Sherman) Durant.

WILSON-Donald F. “Don” Wilson, 90, of Muncy, died Friday, June 16, 2023 at Muncy Place. Born November 9, 1932 in Milton, he was a son of the late Donald F. and Harriet (Zettlemoyer) Wilson. Burial in the Muncy Cemetery.
