Donald L. Warren

Donald L. Warren, 90, of Muncy, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023, at UPMC Williamsport.Born Oct. 13, 1933, in Williamsport, Pa., he was a son of Harold E. and Virginia R. (Bradley) Warren. He graduated from Muncy High School in 1951. He and his spouse Helen “Carol” (DeWire) of 61 years of Muncy shared a wonderful life together. Don was a devoted husband who enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, softball and playing Scrabble, and he loved his family very much.He was previously employed as a manager for Young Industries, Inc. in Muncy, until his retirement in 1994. He was a very active member of the Watsontown Alliance Church where he served as usher, greeter and even participated on a mission’s trip to Brazil. He was also a member and graduate of Bible Study Fellowship International.In addition to his wife, Carol, he is survived by a daughter, Faith Minier, of Tulsa, Okla.; three grandchildren, Monica Minier, of New York, N.Y., David Minier and Nathan Minier, both of Tulsa, Okla. Don was the last surviving member of his immediate family.Donald was preceded in death by his first wife, Dawn Warren; his son, David Warren; and six siblings, Harold Warren, Eugene Warren, Carlyle Warren, Pauline Baylor, Gloria Huffman and Delorise Harris. Memorial Service was held on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, at Watsontown Alliance Church, 1165 8th Street Drive, Watsontown, PA 17777, with Pastor Scott Bartholomew, officiating. Burial will be held privately in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hughesville.
