NICKLES-Pauline A. Nickles, 79, of Muncy, died Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at UPMC Muncy Place. Her husband of 58 years, Jay U. Nickles died June 10, 2022. Born May 13, 1944, in Muncy, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Violet (Barto) Shaner. Burial at Moreland Baptist Cemetery.

MONTGOMERY-Merri A. Montgomery, 82, of Muncy Valley, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023, at UPMC Williamsport. Born Sept. 16, 1941, in Muncy Valley, Merri was the daughter of the late Charles and Frieda (Bair) Golder.

BIEBER-Steven Russell Bieber Jr, 77 of South Williamsport entered his eternal life on Oct. 5th 2023 at UPMC Williamsport. He was born on April 15, 1946 in Montgomery to the late Steven Sr. and Alberta Leech Bieber. Burial at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.

DIETER-Gladys M. Dieter, 78, of rural Muncy, passed away with her family by her side on Friday, Oct. 6, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Born Oct. 26, 1944 in Glen Mawr, she was the daughter of the late Parvin and Lottie (Edkin) Chestnut.

ENGEL-Marjorie Beeson Engel, 78, of Eagles Mere, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2023, at a retirement home near Pittsburgh. Marjorie (Marjorie Holmes Vandergrift Beeson) Engel was born in Pasadena, Calif. on Jan. 24, 1945, the daughter of Henry Robinson Beeson and June (Marjorie Holmes Vandergrift) Beeson.

FILLMAN-John E. Fillman Jr., 62, of Allenwood, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg. He was born Dec. 29, 1960 in Williamsport, a son of the late John E. Sr. and Betty Louise (Sauers) Fillman.
