FRUET — Theresa M. Fruet, 96, of Annandale, Virginia, formerly of Muncy, died June 27 at her daughter’s home in Virginia. She was the daughter of Vincent and Flossie Fuller Simonowicz and celebrated 65 years of marriage with Elmer Joseph Fruet, who died Feb. 2, 2012. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at Church of the Resurrection, 75 Musser Lane, Muncy. Guests will be received starting at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.

GOTTSCHALL — Donald L. Gattschall, 83, of Watsontown, died July 5 at home.

MILLER — Robert W. Miller, 81, of Montgomery, died June 28 at UPMC Haven Place, Lock Haven. He was a son of Raymond and Ruth (Bartlett) Miller and shared 60 years of marriage with his high school sweetheart, the former Patricia Faye Ring, who survives. A celebration of life will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at Clinton Baptist Church, 60 Warren St., Montgomery.

RIDER — Judy A. Rider, 77, of Muncy, died June 29 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was a daughter of John and Dorothy (Gardner) Nixon and celebrated 53 years of marriage with Larry C. Rider, who died Jan. 5, 2021. Services were held July 6 at First United Methodist Church, Muncy.

SNYDER — Pauline H. Snyder, 85, formerly of the Turbotville area, died July 4. Services were held July 9 at Brooks Funeral Home, Turbotville.

SMITH — Elsie Ellen Smith, 88, of Muncy, died June 29 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was a daughter of Frank and Della G. (Sellers) Johnson and shared 54 years of marriage with Preston A. “Pete” Smith, who died Jan. 19, 2016. Friends and family will be received from 11 a.m. to noon today at First United Methodist Church, 602 S. Market St., Muncy. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.

STACKHOUSE — Donna Lea Stackhouse, 86, of Muncy, died June 30 at home surrounded by family. She was the daughter of Paul 4. and Eva I. (Rider) Raup, and celebrated 66 years of marriage with C. Lee Stackhouse, who survives. A private service was planned.

ZIMMERMAN — Terry L. Zimmerman, 86, of Milton, died June 28 at home. He was the son of Thurston F. and Ethel M. (Shuck) Zimmerman and married the former Dorothy Zane Heller, who survives. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, at First Presbyterian Church, 47 Walnut St., Milton.
