BARDO — Beverly D. “Peach” Bardo, 92, of Muncy, died July 31 at Chandler Hall, Newtown. She was a daughter of Donald and Rhea (Guinter) Bair, and shared 62 years of marriage with Emerson D. “JR” Bardo Jr., who died on July 24, 2012. A graveside service was held Aug. 9 at the Muncy Cemetery.

DETWILER — John “Jack” Travers Detwiler, 85, of Eagles Mere and Easton, Maryland, died June 17. He was a son of John Gano and Ann Ruark Detwiler, and shared over 62 years of marriage with Martha Roberts Detwiler, who survives. Private services were planned for this month.

HILL — H. Ellen Hill, 81, of Hughesville, died Aug. 8 at her daughter’s home. She was a daughter of Clyde E. and Dorothy (Lucas) Brownlee, and shared 44 years of marriage with Theodore C. “Ted” Hill, who died March 8, 2016. Services were held Tuesday at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, and burial followed in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.

RISHEL — Thomas G. Rishel Sr., 81, Muncy, died Aug. 2 at home surrounded by his family. He was a son of Burrows E. and Eva L. (Kreppenneck) Rishel, and shared 64 years of marriage with the former Penny Schneider, who survives. A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at the Clinton Baptist Church, 60 Warren St., Montgomery.
