BURKHART — Joann B. (Reed) Burkhart, 87, of Hughesville, died Aug. 26 at home. She was the daughter of George and Jean (Myers) Reed, and shared 53 years of marriage with Earl Burkhart, who died in 2019. Services were held Tuesday at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, Hughesville.

KAHLER — Roger M. Kahler, 65, of Montandon, born in Muncy and a Montgomery Area High School graduate, died Sept. 1 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville. He was a son of William K. and Nancy A. (Waltman) Kahler. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a..m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 10 S. Mill Road, Potts Grove.

KREBS — Larry Lee Krebs, 86, formerly of Milton, died Aug. 30. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

MIDDLESWORTH — Donna M. Middlesworth, 85, of Montgomery, died Sept. 1 at the Gatehouse, Williamsport. She was a daughter of Kenneth and Esther (King) Bower, and shred 58 years of marriage with William R. Middlesworth, who died in 2018. Services were held Friday at Grenoble’s, Muncy, and burial followed in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.

SHUEY — Robert L. “Bob” Shuey Jr., 73, of Montgomery, died Sept. 2 at home with family by his side. He was a son of Robert and Lois (Hayes) Shuey, and shared 50 years of marriage with the former Deborah Mann, who survives. Services were held Saturday at Grace Baptist Church, Muncy.

YOUNG — Thomas P. Young, 81, of Milton, died Aug. 30. No services will be held at this time.
