“Donnie Baseball” Joins Local Staff
Midwest Baseball Academy, with local operations in Millville, today welcomed New York Yankee star Don Mattingly to its Advisory Staff. Mattingly becomes the newest member of MBA’s staff, which also includes Cy Young Award winner Brandon Webb of the Arizona Diamondbacks, All-Stars Paul O’Neill and Rob Dibble, and numerous other Major League players.
The staff assists Midwest Baseball Academy’s instructors on drills and itineraries for its 100 camps nationwide.

Mattingly, nicknamed “Donnie Baseball,” batted .307 for the Yankees between 1982 and 1995. During that time, he was a six-time All-Star and a nine-time Gold Glove winner at first base. Most recently, he has been hitting coach for the Yankees and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
