TURBOTVILLE – Hughesville Spartan quarterback, D. J. Foresman, completed all four of his pass attempts, including one for a touchdown, as the Spartans stay perfect this season with a 48-6 win over Warrior Run Friday night. Hughesville (3-0) scored on all five of its first-half possessions and rushed for 221 yards. With the team leading 14-0, Foresman had his best series on Hughesville’s third scoring drive. He completed three passes for 34 yards, including a touchdown pass to Levi Oden to make it 21-0. Hughesville’s leading rusher Andy Laychur carried the ball eight times for 40 yards scored three touchdown. Warrior Run trailed 34-0 in the second quarter. Hughesville’s Levi Oden ended a Warrior Run series with a 60-yard interception return for a touchdown. Hughesville rushed for 308 yards and Junior Cody Butler was the team’s leading rusher with 92 yards on six carries and two touchdowns.
