Rebecca Hite allowed just four hits and three runs in Montgomery’s 13-3 win over Bloomsburg in six innings. Hite was 2-4 at the plate while Samantha Hill and Emily Shnyder each added two more hits for the Red Raiders.

Emily Shnyder picked up her second win of the season in the circle as Montgomery beat Benton, 12-1. Samantha Hill had a pair of hits and Kaitlyn Warzel had three hits for the Red Raiders.

Hughesville rallied in the sixth inning when Megan Miller lined a three-run home run over the right-field fence, to put the Spartans within one run of Loyalsock, 7-6, but it wasn’t enough as they were defeated, 8-6. Miller finished 2-for-3 and the Spartans’ leadoff hitter reached base in all four plate appearances, scoring three times.

Muncy 12 – Sullivan County 1
The Muncy Indians waited 16 days to play their second game but were able to put together some clutch hitting, solid pitching from three pitchers and errorless defense to beat the Sullivan County Griffins 13 – 1. Muncy scored in each inning plating one in the first and then erupting for six in the second in which key hits by Hannah Cole, Makenzie Ruby and Courtney Ebner along with aggressive baserunning. The Indians scored four more in the third with key hits again coming from Cole and Ruby. Finally, Jaylon Jones drilled a fourth inning triple to the fence in right centerfield to complete the scoring.
Junior Courtney Ebner gave up no hits, walked one and had four strikeouts over the first three innings and was followed on the mound by sophomore Charity Good, and freshman Tierny Shaible who each tossed a scoreless inning in relief.
