Lady Spartan, Torrey Hollis, captured the District 4 Class AA title in the 100-meter hurdles

and set a new district record and an automatic berth to the PIAA Championships this coming weekend in Shippensburg. Hollis finished in 15.14 seconds and beat the previous record of 15.28 seconds set by East Juniata’s Courtney Kostich in 2005. She entered the meet at top seed with a time of 15.14

Hughesville’s 3,200 meter relay and 400 meter relay teams will also advance to this weekend’s state championship. The relay teams finished with state qualifying times with a third place finish in the 3,200.
