Muncy's Tim Colburn scored the Indians only run when Montgomery made two overthrows when Colburn was stealing second.

Hughesville turned a 6-0, fifth-inning deficit into an 8-7 win against Montoursville. This was the first time since 2005 and scored eight fifth-inning runs and made a great defensive plays. In the fifth-inning rally, Tyler Potts and Kyle Bomboy, coming off the bench, made key hits. Potts hit the go-ahead, three-run double and reserve catcher Brett Reitz threw out a Warrior trying to steal the following inning.

Justin Lambert threw 4 2/3 innings of outstanding relief, winning his fifth game.

Hughesville’s Scott Myers threw a complete-game five-hitter as the Spartans shut out Lewisburg, 7-0.

Red Raiders Defeat Rival Indians

Garrett Shnyder struck out 12 Muncy batters last Friday as he threw a complete-game four-hitter in the Red Raiders’ 4-1 win against Muncy. Shnyder struck out the side twice, and struck out at least two in an inning four times. The Red Raiders overcame three errors in the field – two on one play which led to Muncy’s only run.

Montgomery scored a pair of unearned runs, one in the second inning and one in the fifth to take a 2-0 lead. Muncy’s Tim Colburn scored the Indians only run when Montgomery made two overthrows when Colburn was stealing second.

In the seventh Shnyder connected on a fastball sending it over the fence in left field.
