Muncy extended its winning streak in softball to four straight in a 7-6 win over South Williamsport this past Saturday. Hannah Cole led the Indians offense, going 2 for 2 with a double, home run and two RBIs.

Hughesville 4, Shamokin 3

Hughesville’s Brianna Stroup scored the game-winning run on an RBI fielder’s choice after leading off the eighth inning with a double and the Spartans defeated Shamokin in eight innings, 4-3. Hughesville’s Megan Miller, who had seven strikeouts, retired the Indians in order in the bottom of the eighth.
