Members of the Muncy Little League teams are giving the thumbs up for the world's largest grill as they stand inside it on Thursday afternoon, August 15 in front of Weis Markets.

MUNCY – On Thursday, August 15th Weis Markets in Muncy Creek Township hosted the world’s largest grill, presented by Johnsonville. All proceeds went to benefit the Muncy Little League. Players and family members came that day to enjoy hot dogs, bratwurst, beverages, chips, a bounce house, t-ball games and lots of activities.

From 11 to 3 p.m. customers purchased lunch while Boomer the Mascot from the Williamsport Crosscutters assisted them with their shopping.

Raffles were held for several Weber grills and a four pack of Crosscutters baseball tickets were also given away.

Besides Weis Markets and Johnsonville, Frito-Lay, Pepsi and Bimbo Bakeries USA were also sponsors, and all donated their food products for the event.

The Johnsonville grill was a highlight in the Little League parade on Weds. August 14 in downtown Williamsport. “It was almost a block long,” said Olivia Bender from Picture Rocks.
