MONTGOMERY-West Scranton’s wrestling match earned Montgomery high school senior Isaiah Bobotas his 100th career victory. Isaiah joins an exclusive club of Montgomery wrestlers that includes only 14 others in school history. “I feel good, and it’s a positive start to the ultimate goal-Hershey,” said Bobotas. The post-season will bring even more challenges to Isaiah. “I want to win it all. Setting the bar high brings

good things with it,” Isaiah said about his post-season aspirations.

Achieving a milestone like 100 wins can draw college attention to a high school wrestler. “If I find a team with the right fit and offers, I’ll wrestle. If not, I’ll concentrate on my future and education,” Bobotas had to say about his future plans. When asked to give advice to future wrestlers, Isaiah said “If you want to wrestle, it’s a lifestyle. If you aren’t willing to fully commit, find another hobby.”

The PIAA state wrestling tournament will be held in Hershey from March 6th to March 8th.
