Hughesville’s Josh Fry and Mitchel Thomas will advance to the state tournament in Hershey on Friday, May 23. The Spartan duo finished the District 4 Class AA Doubles championship as runner up last Monday at the West Branch Tennis Club in South Williamsport. Hughesville beat Galeton’s No. 2 team of Mitchell Smith and Eli Trimbur, 6-0, 6-4, advancing them into the finals.
