RUTH FRY/The Luminary Thomas Goetz, Montgomery's 160-pounder, won his first District 4 Sectional title this past weekend in Montoursville.

District 4 Sectional Tournament At Montoursville

Hughesville, Montgomery and Muncy will be advance several of their wrestlers to the District 4 Class AA tournament this weekend in Williamsport after finishing in the top four in their respective weight class at the Sectional tournament.

The Spartans are sending two Sectional champions, Trevor Sones (120) and Zach Fry (145) along with third place winner Josh Dauberman (HWY) and fourth-placer finishers Devin Stahlnecker (152), Adam Warburton, (170) and Colton Kepner (182).

Muncy’s Angelo Barberio won his second consecutive title winning the 113-pound division and will be accompanied by teammates, 2nd place finishers-Jacob Dgien (120), Dakota Nixon (145), Nick Roberts (HWY); 3rd place-Junior Ramos, (170), and 4th place-Abien Berry, (126).

Montgomery Red Raider senior, Thomas Goetz, won his first title and will advance with fellow grapplers and place winners, Lucas Drick (113)-3rd; Jacob Chamberlin (120)-4th; Zach Shadle (132)-4th; and Kobe Galentine (138)-4th.
