RUTH FRY/The Luminary Trent Woolcock, (above), hits two three-pointers as the Spartans got revenge beating Danville on Saturday night in Hughesville, 59-55. Woolcock also scored 20 points earlier in the week against Montoursville. The Spartan senior made six of his eight 3-point attempts in that game.

The first time they met Danville came out on top, but the Spartans got revenge the second time defeating the Ironmen, 59-55. Alex Welch led the team with 18 points and 10 rebounds. The Spartans, who led by as many as 14 late in the third quarter, were paced by Trent Woolcock (14) and Landon Henry (11) who combined for 25 points.

Trent Woolcock scored 20 points, grabbed seven rebounds and made three steals as Hughesville dominated Montoursville, 57-44. Woolcock made six of his eight 3-point attempts while Hughesville built a 25-point third-quarter lead. Ethan Duff scored 10 of his 11 points in the first half while making all five of his shots. Alex Welch finished with 12 points while Trey Smith added four assists.
