Jeff Fry scores 1000th point

Jeff Fry scored his 1000th point last week in the third quarter of the Muncy-South Williamsport basketball game. A brief celebration took place after making the shot. Jeff Fry scored 29 points, including 25 after halftime, for Muncy scoring his 1,000th career point. Entering into the game Fry needed only 5 points to achieve this goal. A brief celebration took place following his 1,000 point as he ran up the bleachers to give his mom and dad a hug. Also scoring in the double digits in the 77-72 double overtime loss was Matt Coyner finishing with 23 for the Indians.

Landon Henry led the Spartans in their overtime 67-63 loss to Milton with 23 points making five of six shots from the field and line in the fourth quarter against the Panthers. Henry also became the program’s all-time leader in assists, passing Bryan Hoover, who set the mark from 2005-09.
Taylor Mason scored 13 points in the second half of Hughesville’s going 5 for 5 from the field and made all six free throws finishing the night with 18 points and 11 rebounds.
