Spartans defeat Muncy

Hughesville held on with the lead in the final two minutes of the game defeating the Indians, 49-41. The Spartans cut down the deficit to take a lead in the second quarter twice, including the go-ahead lead after two free throws by Luke Ergott to lead 25-23 with just over two minutes until halftime. Muncy was led by Nathan Paisley’s 14 points and Noah Rymsza’s 13, as Dylan Wilt led the team with nine rebounds before he fouled out in the fourth quarter. The Spartans were led by Matt Myers with 14 points, and Taylor Mason finished with nine points and team-highs in rebounds (12), assists (four) and blocks (two).
