Muncy’s Joe Klock (left) avenged a loss to Cole Rhone of Benton in last week’s Northeast Regional final and captured the state championship Saturday afternoon edging Rhone 3-2 for the gold medal. This is Muncy’s first state championship since Zach Strickland and Ryan Hembury both won a title in 2011. Muncy senior Hunter Poust (right) won his first state medal placing eighth. Poust secured his spot in the medal rounds after winning the third round of consolations.
