Montgomery 6, Northeast?Bradford 4

Taylor?McRae hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh with two outs and a full count to propel Montgomery to an exciting, walk-off 6-4 win against Northeast Bradford in the District 4 Class AA semifinals Friday afternoon. Montgomery entered the bottom of the seventh inning trailing by two runs. McRae went 2 for 4 for the Red Raiders. Morgan?Tupper went 2 for 3 and Saige Whipple was 2 for 3. Jenna Warren was 1 for 3.

District 4 Class AA Quarterfinals

Troy 11, Muncy 1

In the District 4 Class AA?quarterfinals, Troy scored nine runs in a three-inning span to pull away after a tie in the first inning and the Indians, 11-1, to advance to the semifinals. Muncy was held to three singles as Alexis?Treese, Rory Oden and?Lily Frederick all had a hit. The Indians scored a run in the top of the first inning to take a brief 1-0 lead before Troy tied it in the bottom of the first.
