Muncy students attend state championships for powerlifting

MUNCY – On Saturday, April 27, eight students from Muncy Jr./Sr. High School attended the PSCPA State High School Powerlifting Championships along with our Strength and Conditioning Coach K. Hampe and several parents. At these championships, all the students did exceptionally well in their respective weight and age classes. Four students are now officially state champions in their division, and one student was runner-up.

Mateo Meza, Josiah Meza, Dakota Haueisen also competed. Mateo placed 9th in his division, and Josiah and Dakota each placed 4th in their respective divisions.
Along with these outstanding individual achievements, Muncy was awarded two honors: Best Small School Team and Best New Comer Team.
