PIAA District 4 Class A Championships

Hughesville wins team title; Foust wins gold; Montgomery’s Kennedy wins title

Hughesville Boys Cross Country team captured the programs for District title in the District 4 Class A race and earned a spot next week’s state meet in Hershey. The Spartans ran away with the team title, putting five runners in the Top 11, including Hunter Foust, who won the individual title for the first time. The Spartans topped returning district champ Wyalusing.

In the Girls Soccer Class A race, Montgomery’s Kennedy Marsh led from the start and took the District 4 Class A title at Warrior Run High School. She was the lone Montgomery runner in the field.
