Montgomery 36, Cowanesque Valley 20

Parker Persing completed 11 of 16 passes for Montgomery, and Weston Pick was in for 22 tackles and rushed a career high 103 yards and scored two touchdowns as Montgomery defeated the Indians, 36-20. Coy Bryson had 71 rushing yards on six carries, including a touchdown pass, and Ethan Tupper also caught a touchdown pass in the win. On defense William Valentine had an interception, and six tackles, while Caden Finck finished with nine tackles including one for a loss.

Bloomsburg 18, Hughesville 14

Bloomsburg used an 84-yard fumble return to give the Panthers their first lead of the night, and his fourth down interception with 40 seconds left defeating Hughesville, 18-14. Hughesville’s defense allowed only 40 yards on the night, and Aiden Barlett, a junior, intercepted two passes and made nine catches for 138 yards, including a 35-yard touchdown including a 40-yard reception. Angelo Ferrigno also scored a touchdown giving the Spartan a 14-6 lead. Spartan quarterback Luke Kaiser finished the night with 154 passing yard.
