Muncy kicked off their season with a 36-28 win. over Warrior Run. Nolah Moyer scored 10 points and had 10 rebounds, and Avery Bigelow and Mia Edkin each scored nine points.

Allie Anstadt helped Hughesville open its season strong with a win scoring 16 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, made seven steals and dealt six assists as the Spartans defeated St. John Neumann, 54-38. Breanna Bobak finished with 16 points and Ava Snyder scored 10 in the win.

Senior guard, Mike Fry, scored a career-high 24 points and made five 3-pointers as Muncy defeated the Mounties, 59-48. Ross Eyer and Branson Eyer each scored in the double digits too, with 15 and 14 respectively.

Rayne Parrish scored a career-high 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds, and Saafir Stewart-Williams added eight poins and Hayden Wilt seven as the Red Raiders edged Benton, 43-39 in their season opener.

Northumberland Christian defeated Hughesville, 71-68. In the loss Carter Cowburn had a 17-point, 10-rebound double-double. Dylan Bieber led the Spartans with 23 points and added three boards and an assist. Luke Kaiser had 11 points, Landen King had eight points, eight rebounds (five offensive) and three assists, and Cam Fetterman had five points, a steal, assist and a rebound.South Williamsport 71, Hughesville 59Hughesville’s Josh Heiney led the team with 23 points and Dylan Bieber and Carter Cowburn each had nine, but the Mounties got the win defeating the Spartans, 71-59.
