Muncy 81, Bucktail 49

Ross Eyer grabbed his 900th career rebound and his cousin Branson his 500th. Both also are 1,000-point scorers, and Mike Fry produced 17 points, eight assists and seven rebounds in Muncy’s 81-49 win over Bucktail. Ross Eyer had 13 points, seven boards and six assists, and Branson Eyer finished in double digits along with other starters with 12 points and five rebounds. Noah Confer totaled 13 points with six assists and Eli Weikle added 10 points.

Muncy senior Branson Eyer scored his 1,000th career point as the Indians rallied from behind edging East Juniata, 61-57. Eyer finished the game with 12 points and seven rebounds and needed one point to reach 1,000. Mike Fry led the team with 26 points and making six 3-pointers. Ross Eyer had 17 points, nine assists and six rebounds.

Lewisburg rallied trailing six points at halftime to defeat Hughesville, 54-44. Hughesville lost a third starter to injury in the past several weeks. The Spartans were led by Ethan Woolcock who finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds, Josh Heiney scored 14 points, Dylan Bieber produced nine points and five assists, and Luke Kaiser also had nine points in the loss.

Muncy built a 28-point halftime lead at Bucktail as it defeated the Bucks, 49-17 win. Avery Bigelow scored a team-high 13 points with five rebounds, five assists and four steals. Addi Eyer scored 10 points and dealt three assists, while Cierra Charles had eight points and four rebounds. Muncy played outstanding defense as they defeated current District 4 Class AA top seed Northeast Bradford, 39-29. The Indians allowed just 11 first half points and Addi Eyer scored 12 points while adding seven rebounds and four assists. Mia Edkin scored eight points with six rebounds, and Nolah Moyer had six points with seven rebounds.
