PIAA District 4 Class AA Championship results

(First Day results) Hughesville’s Nate Fortin, Tyce Shaner, Shea McCusker and Wyatt Gavitt took second in 8:08.43 with a time of 8:08.43 qualifying them for this weekend’s state championships. Williamson edged the Spartans winning the gold with a time of 8:02.70 to win the Class AA 3,200 relay race.

Warrior Run’s girls 3,200 relay team won the race with a time of 9:38.96 to win gold and qualify for the state championships this weekend. Hughesville’s 3,200 relay team of Hailey Poust, Grace Fortin, Kate Fortin, and Vivian Draper finished third and also advanced to states with a state-qualifying time of 9:48.32. Hughesville’s Hailey Sherwood took home a 7th-place finish in the discus.
