Bald Eagle Area edged Muncy, 1-0, in the first round of the PIAA state playoffs. The Eagles scored one run in the bottom of the first inning and held Muncy scoreless the next six innings to take the win.

Muncy’s Nola Moyer allowed only two hits in the game, both by the same batter, and struck out 14. The Indians opened the game with the bases loaded, but BEA stopped Muncy from scoring.
