Tri-Town Police Blotter
The following people have been charged with various criminal offenses, according to court records. Those charged and the law enforcement agencies involved were:
Joshua Feigles, 35, of 203 Carpenter St., Muncy; city police; felony burglary, felony trespassing, theft, receiving stolen property and tampering with evidence to allegedly entering tenant Daniel Brady’s room at the Kast Hotel, 723 Arch St., and allegedly stealing his cellphone late Thursday afternoon; jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Cody Hooker, 20, of 613 Cemetery St.; Hughesville police; possession of methamphetamines and possession of drug paraphernalia at South Fourth and Water streets on June 8; released on $5,000 bail.
Matthew Murosky, 27, homeless; state police; terroristic threats, unlawful restraint, simple assault and harassment for allegedly threatening kill girlfriend Alyssa Shook during a disturbance at 60 N. Main St. in Montgomery on June 6; he slammed her to the ground and put duct tape around her head in attempt to cover her mouth, police alleged; he also tied tape around her wrists to restrain her and threatened to kill her while holding a large knife; at his arraignment he told a district judge “I didn’t do any of this;” jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Jeremy Dorward, 22, of 116 S. Market St., Muncy; Muncy police; DUI and possession of 13 grams of marijuana in 200 block of Swamp Alley on March 3; his blood-alcohol content level was .14; he has been sent a summons to appear before a district judge.
Tyrone B. Sanders, 21, of 36 W. Walnut St. Hughesville; Hughesville Borough police; theft by unlawful taking, after allegedly stealing $2,376.00 by walking behind the counter and opening the register and lottery drawer to remove cash at Fuel On gas station at 1 N. Main St. Hughesville on June 21. He was held in lieu of $10,000.
The following people were recently sentenced in Lycoming County Court:
- Robert C. Steele, 49, of Muncy, 14 to 60 months sentence to state prison, $1,500 fine, drug and alcohol assessment, and DUI education for DUI.
- Dale L. Drake, 41, of Hughesville, 72 hours to six months sentence to county prison, $1,000 fine, drug and alcohol assessment, DUI education, and 50 hours community service for DUI.
- Ronald K. Hunsicker, 66, of Hughesville, sentenced to intermediate punishment via electronic monitoring and drug and alcohol assessment for possession with intent to deliver.
- Collin S. Reid, 40, Montgomery, 48 months probation and drug and alcohol assessment for endangering the welfare of children.
Fugitive arrests:
Deputies, Lycoming County Adult Probation Officers, and members of the USMS Fugitive Task Force located and apprehended George Halchin in Hughesville. Halchin was wanted by Lycoming Probation for violations with underlying charges of possession with Intent to deliver narcotics, and by Lycoming County Domestic Relations. Halchin was incarcerated July 12 pending disposition of his cases.
On July 15, Deputies released information regarding the apprehension of Tyler Turner of Turbotville. Following a brief struggle, Turner was taken into custody at the Lycoming County Fair. Turner had two warrants from Lycoming County Probation for violations with underlying charges of theft and possession of marijuana. Additionally, Turner faces charges for resisting arrest and related offenses.
