The Ray of Lights Awards will be held this Saturday, May 9 at the Community Arts Center. The following area students are nominated for the this year’s 2015 Ray of Light Awards:

Joshua Lloyd from Muncy High School in “The Crucible” – Leading Actor in a Play

Bridget Murphy from Muncy High School in “The Crucible” – Leading Actress in a Play

Olivia Treese from Hughesville in “Pride and Prejudice” – Leading Actress in a Play

Benjamin Nesselrodt from Hughesville High School in “Pride and Prejudice” – Best Supporting Actor in a Play

Joy Doty from Hughesville High School in “Damn Yankees” – Best Supporting Actress in a Musical

Hughesville High School has both of their plays up for nominations. “Pride and Prejudice” is nominated for Best Play, and “Damn Yankees” is nominated in the Best Musical production category.
